How important is staging?

Terri tells the story of a 30-plus-year-old ocean front condo in Ocean City that was initially appraised at $385,000. But Power of 2 thought they could do better.

“The owners got involved and gave us a budget of $5,000,” explained Terri. “With that we were able to paint the whole unit, including kitchen cabinets and replace some furniture.  We wrapped their headboards so they looked like an upholstered headboard instead of the ‘70s style laminate and dressed up other areas. With the improvements we priced it at $429,000. The first buyers to see it offered $415,00 and the sale was closed in the dead of winter.”
